Aktivitetsigenkänning är detektering av en användares fysiska aktivitet för att utföra vissa åtgärder på enheten, till exempel att ta poäng när en enhet upptäcks, stänga av wifi när en telefon är stilla, eller sätta ringvolymen till max när användaren är gående.

PathSense aktivitetsigenkänning är ett annat bra bibliotek för enheter som inte har Google Play-tjänster, eftersom de har byggt sin egen modell för aktivitetsigenkänning, men kräver att utvecklare registrerar sig på http://developer.pathsense.com för att få en API-nyckel och klient-ID .
