Création d'espaceurs

Certains clients de messagerie (notamment Windows Desktop Outlook) réduisent les tables sans contenu, même s'il existe des dimensions ou un remplissage.

Pour empêcher ces clients de réduire la table d'espacement, vous pouvez ajouter un invisible   qui sert de contenu. Ensuite, mettez à zéro la font-size de font-size et la line-height afin de ne pas affecter les dimensions de la <table> . L'attribut height (ou width) est désormais la seule chose qui affecte les dimensions de l'espaceur.

Il était courant d'utiliser un fichier .gif transparent 1x1 en tant qu'espaceur, mais cette méthode est obsolète.

Espacement des éléments

Outlook peut parfois ajouter un peu d'espace sur les côtés gauche et droit d'un élément, ce qui peut provoquer des problèmes de mise en page. En utilisant les propriétés CSS mso-table-lspace et mso-table-rspace spécifiques au fournisseur, vous pouvez vous débarrasser de ces espaces et continuer à traiter les millions d'autres problèmes causés par Outlook.

Redimensionnement d'image

L'utilisation de balises de largeur ou de hauteur pour redimensionner des images dans votre balisage peut créer un problème dans les navigateurs Internet Explorer. Si votre lecteur affiche un courrier électronique dans le navigateur, et que ce courrier électronique contient des images fluides, il sera plutôt laid à mesure qu’il sera redimensionné. Utiliser -ms-interpolation-mode: bicubique; s'assure que vos images ont l'air un peu mieux.
