AppleScript kan de URL van het huidige tabblad van een browser ophalen.

Om de URL van het huidige tabblad in Safari, gebruik terug URL of current tab :

tell application "Safari"
    return URL of current tab of window 1
end tell

Als u de URL van het huidige tabblad in Google Chrome wilt retourneren, gebruikt u de URL of active tab :

tell application "Google Chrome"
    return URL of active tab of window 1
end tell
