Opmerkingen

Het is belangrijk op te merken dat een objectlichaam niet altijd nodig is. Als de standaardconstructor voldoende is en er geen andere functionaliteit hoeft te worden geïmplementeerd, mag deze niet worden gemaakt.

Een standaardconstructor is de door Oracle geleverde constructor, die uit alle attributen bestaat in volgorde van aangifte. Een exemplaar van BASE_TYPE kan bijvoorbeeld worden geconstrueerd door de volgende aanroep, ook al verklaren we dit niet expliciet.
