DELETE 문은 대용량 저장 장치에서 레코드를 삭제합니다. 일부 컴파일러는 DELETE 문을 FILE 절과 함께 사용하여 FD 이름을 삭제할 수 있습니다 (사용중인 데이터베이스 관리 엔진에서 필요로하는 연관된 색인 구조와 함께).

기본 키 필드의 키 삭제, 레코드 삭제

       assign to "indexed-file.dat"

       access mode is dynamic
